Burrowmoor Primary School Sport Premium Impact Report 2013 – 2014 For the academic year 2013-2014 the school received £9,705 in Sport Premium Funding to spend on school PE and Sport. Burrowmoor School aspires to ensure all children have the opportunity and means to participate in high quality sport provision both within, and in addition, to the curriculum. Burrowmoor School is situated in the Rural Fenland area of March and whilst offering some sporting opportunity within the town, there are limited choices with cost and access implications. Following a consultation with parents and pupils, we have prioritised the funding on the following areas to ensure a positive impact for all.       

To maintain and extend free high quality sports clubs available for all children (including access arrangement for SEN) To employ an extra curricular coordinator to ensure the well organised, safe, high quality and smooth running of all activities. To improve the provision of Games and PE teaching focusing on Dance and Gymnastics To buy in specialist consultants to advise our pupils on lifestyle choices. To increase the level of inter sport competitions (including transport costs) To increase the level of Intra sport competitions focusing on the social, spiritual, moral and cultural skills To develop a love of sport for all.

We aim to instil within our pupils the Olympic Values of Excellence, Friendship and Respect and Paralympic Values of Courage, Determination, Inspiration and Equality.
