(NVQ/QCF) Understanding the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice Level 4 This qualification is aimed at learners aiming to gain qualifications in assessing, internal quality assuring and external quality assuring, specifically those who assess both competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (e.g. a workshop, classroom or other training environment). It can also be very useful to teachers in schools and further education colleges who deliver qualifications with applied learning, such as BTEC Firsts and Nationals. It provides all the key knowledge and qualifications to those wishing to gain a better understanding of the principles and practices of internally and externally assuring the quality of assessment, without any requirement to practice.
