Getting to College
Information on how to get to College is available on bsfc.ac.uk under ‘Prospective Students’. There are FREE shuttle bus services from Hamilton Square and Birkenhead Park and subsidised College bus services from West Wirral and South Wirral areas. Full details including timetables are available online. If you live over 3 miles away you can also apply for a subsidised College bus pass – application forms are available from Reception.
Interested in Sport? If you are interested in playing regular competitive sport at the College then there are lots of opportunities for you. Sports fixtures are held regularly on Wednesday afternoon and other competitions are also entered throughout the year.

Football & Rugby Trials – Wednesday 3rd September 1.15pm (G Block) – football and rugby boots required Netball & Basketball Taster Sessions – Wednesday 3rd September 1.30pm (Sports Hall) – indoor kit required Golfers - see staff in the first teaching week Email Adam Thomas (at@bsfc.ac.uk) to express your interest and collect a ‘Sports Team and Competitions’ form during enrolment that you need to complete and take to the trial.

Enrichment Fair
College offers a wide range of extra activities outside of lessons. The Enrichment Fair on Thursday 11th September will give you an opportunity to find out more – there is everything from Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, Voluntary Work through to First Aid and Sporting activities.
Tips from Student Ambassadors Try your hardest at all times – and don’t be afraid to speak to your tutor – they are there to help you. Don’t worry or panic about how busy the first few weeks seem – it soon calms down. Everyone is in the same position.
