Is Business for you? • You must have achieved at least 5 GCSEs at grade C or above. You will take an initial assessment which will check you have the required communication and numeracy skills. You want a valued, career-related alternative to A-Level study – This can be studied as a Certificate (equivalent of 1 AS Level) over one year or as a Subsidiary Diploma (equivalent to 1 A Level) over two years or as a Diploma (equivalent of 2 A levels) over two years.
You want to learn how organisations operate in theory and how they function in practice. You wish to learn about the key areas of running a business and making business decisions. You want to develop your skills of time management, report and presentation preparation, creativity skills, team work, investigation and research.
