Sadly some PTFA members will be leaving us shortly as their children begin life at the high school in September.

Some of these have been PTFA members for 7 years or longer!!

WE THANK THEM FOR THEIR TIME AND LOYALTY! In order to keep up with the fundraising and helping to support the school in providing the best possible educational materials and resources for your child, it is important that we recruit new members, especially from the new parents to the school.

WHY WE DO IT

Whitefield P.T.F.A. raises on average around £6,000 per year.

WHAT WE DO

PTFA members give their time voluntarily and we are extremely grateful considering how precious leisure time is.

PTFA members can attend meetings (usually once a month for approximately 2 hours in the evening) during which ideas are pooled and events are planned.

PTFA members staff the events – this is usually only for a couple of hours at each event although the Summer Fair does take up at least one whole evening.

IN REALITY, IT’S VERY LITTLE TIME OVER THE YEAR, BUT SUCH A HUGE BENEFIT TO THE CHILDREN.

AND WHY WE DO IT

Many events are organised by the PTFA throughout the school year and while raising money for school is our priority, we also ensure that the children and parents have lots of fun, which is an extremely important detail too!

Over the past3 years we have been able to purchase visualisers, digital cameras for each of the classes, plus sports kits for netball and football and 30 netbooks.

OUR EVENTS CALENDAR Discos are held at least once a term at Christmas February Easter Wear what you want days throughout the year.
