Safeguarding and Child Protection for School Staff It is best practice that all staff in schools receive training every three years and that all new staff, including support staff and non-teaching staff, have attended safeguarding training. In line with current OFSTED requirements Safety Net can offer safeguarding training to all school staff. Safety Net are able to deliver this training as part of a school’s inset day. All of our courses are regularly updated to include latest government developments.

Whole School Training Our package includes 

Child protection/safeguarding interactive training session for up to 30 people

Supporting material and resources to upload to the school/organisation server

Experienced, professional facilitator with a background in children/youth working within education/social sector

Individual certificates for each staff member/one whole school certificate

Safety Net’s team of qualified trainers can deliver three-hour safeguarding training to schools and nurseries. Previously Safety Net were commissioned by East Sussex County Council to deliver this training to primary and secondary schools. Safety Net is an East Sussex approved provider of this training and NSPCC approved Safe Network Champions.

Cost

Half-day up to three hours: £350 Whole day (includes practice-based exercises) up to six hours: £700
