Safeguarding and Child Protection for School Staff It is best practice that all staff in schools receive training every three years and that all new staff, including support staff and non-teaching staff, have attended safeguarding training. In line with current OFSTED requirements Safety Net can offer up to date interactive safeguarding training to all school staff. Safety Net is able to deliver this training as part of a school’s inset day or as a twilight session. All of our courses are regularly updated to include latest government developments.

Whole School Training Our package includes 

Safeguarding and child protection interactive training session for up to 30 people (multiple successive or concurrent sessions can be arranged for larger groups)

Experienced, professional facilitator with a background in children / youth working within education / social sector

One whole school certificate, and individual certificates for staff members on request

Safety Net’s team of qualified trainers can deliver three-hour safeguarding training to schools and nurseries. Safety Net is an East Sussex approved provider of this training and NSPCC approved Safe Network Champions. Safety Net have been commissioned by East Sussex County Council to deliver this training to primary and secondary schools.
