Protective Behaviours “Fantastic course, integral to all my work….A safe way to look at issues ” - Young people’s worker
Protective Behaviours is a personal safety and life skill process that teaches the ability to recognise and deal with situations in which we don't feel safe. It can be used as both an abuse prevention strategy and to address situations such as feeling worried or bullied. This two day course teaches an ability to recognise when we are not feeling safe and provides skills and tools to enable individuals to take action and get help when they need it. It also recognises that life is about taking risks and trying new things and that this is part of our personal development and an important life skill.
