This work was co-commissioned by Carnegie Hall, Orchestra of St. Luke’s (made possible through the generosity of Linda and Stuart Nelson), and Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. The World Premiere was given by the Orchestra of St. Luke’s and Kelley O’Connor in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall in New York City on February 15, 2018.
