Even when stopped, a Scorpion appears to be blasting off into the wind, always to be in first place...

This technology is not gasping for air!!

DESIGN Tested in a wind-tunnel, the streamlined design of Scorpion helmets appears to be the work of the wind itself! And this is not only an impression! Indeed, during the whole process governing the development of a new helmet, our designers use an extremely sophisticated wind-tunnel to attune the drag coefficient of each model, thus making sure that your Scorpion ranks amongst the best helmets when it comes to aerodynamic balance and low noise levels. Aerodynamic research on a helmet is done with two key goals in mind: - Reduce turbulence which is detrimental to riding comfort, and thus decrease fatigue; - Reduce speed-related noise nuisance.

AIR VENTS The vents play a major part in the aerodynamics of the helmet. They must provide optimum air flow to give the rider the desired amount of cooling, while not disturbing the dynamic balance of the helmet. Here too, by using a wind-tunnel during the development stage of a Scorpion helmet, it is possible to balance optimally the efficiency of the air circulation and the turbulence resulting from opening the air vents. This mathematical equation encompasses the volume of air entering the helmet and exiting at the rear, as well as its circulation inside the shell. A delicate equilibrium that few manufacturers are able to master as well as Scorpion. .

A ScorpionExo速 exclusivity available as standard on all Full-Face helmets (except for the Exo-400), and now also on Off-Road models and on the modular Exo-900 Air, inflate or deflate the inner padding of your Scorpion to make it adjust perfectly to the morphology of your face. The helmet thus snugly follows the shape of your cheeks as if it had been moulded to your very own features. When it comes to safety, this optimised fit provides better protection and reduces the phenomena of lift. On the other hand, the air cushion also improves protection in case of a shock. However this technology first of all revolutionises comfort, and at the same time provides two essential benefits: The guarantee of a quieter helmet free from parasitic noise, and a helmet that fits snugly for many years.

Changing the faceshield is child’s play! A world first, the ScorpionExo® available as standard on all the street models, it guarantees faceshield replacement in less than 10 seconds, together with perfect sealing thanks to internal retractable system! With the faceshield open, its enough to just turn the two twistgrips by 1/4 to remove it. To replace it the operation is just as simple. The faceshield clips on automatically around the twistgrips by simply pressing it on. Easy, reliable and clever.
