YOUR WAY For each appointment type, you have the option to include a tartan and clan consultation. If you are unsure of your family tartan or clan link, this is always a great place to start! Our Highlandwear package has the option to include a kilt consultation where we can talk you through the traditions and history of the kilt outfit, as well as how to wear it. We will tailor your consultation for your specific interests and appointment type to include Scottish wedding customs, a background of tartans, clans and Scottish traditions.
LARGE GROUPS WELCOME Larger groups are welcome, and we offer gift vouchers for a really unique present! IN HOTEL APPOINTMENTS You don’t have to come to us! We can also arrange to come to your Edinburgh hotel during your stay. EXCLUSIVE SHOPPING If you’re looking for something even more exclusive, we can cater to your needs! For a small deposit that is redeemable against your purchase, we will close our Edinburgh showroom for you and your party. This will allow you to have the entire space to yourselves and is perfect for larger groups.

EXPECT Your tailoring consultant will be in store to greet you and show you through to our measuring area. Your party will be offered a refreshment (locally sourced of course) while we carry out an optional clan or kilt consultation. We will discuss your occasion, garments, tartans, tweed and finishes before selecting cloth and style details. This can be daunting when faced with hundreds of fabric options, fits, buttons and linings, but don’t worry, your tailoring consultant will help you style your outfit to perfection!
how to
Be measured for your tartan or tweed garments, and any accessories you require. 6-8 weeks after your appointment, you will be invited back to our Edinburgh showroom to have a final fitting and collect your tartan garments. Or we can of course ship directly to you if you prefer.
