ACADEMIC RIGOR • Admission to Honors, AP, and Advanced Topics courses is selective and depends on past performance and departmental approval. Due to the rigor of those courses, students are counseled to limit the number they take. • All AP students are expected to take the AP exam. • Advanced Topics courses are comparable in rigor to AP courses and usually taken only by students who have completed the department’s AP offerings.
