A report by BofA Securities stated that the US’ cannabis sales grew by 40% in 2021 to reach a total of $25 billion. Despite not being as robust as the previous year, the sales still surpassed the previous year’s total. The global sales of cannabis reached a total of $31 billion in 2021. The report attributed the increase in the market’s value to the huge amount of cash that the industry has accumulated.
