Welcome This is the 3rd annual edition of the Michigan Art Guide. This directory helps you find galleries that primarily offer original art and contemporary craft, as well as juried art fairs all over the state. Our companion mobile web app provides the same information which you can access with your smartphone or tablet. Each year, we painstakingly update all the information in the Art Guide to make sure we’re providing accurate listings. We try hard to make these guides functional and easyto-use, with all of the information carefully organized and color-coded so you can easily find what you want when you want it. But if you can think of ways to make this guide even easier to use, please let us know.
Our hope is that you’ll study the Art Fair listings (starting on page 48), highlight your favorites and add some art trips to your to-do list. Then you’ll want to keep the Art Guide in your car so you can look up and visit galleries in whatever town or cities you happen to be passing through. We have no doubt you’ll be surprised by how much wonderful art and fine craft you’ll find while traveling around Michigan!
