Scottish Ballet in 2015/16 During 2015/16, Scottish Ballet continued to grow its reputation and exposure with a varied artistic programme, creative partnerships and ground-breaking education initiatives.
The Company came into contact with the public over 657,000 times through performances, education activities, its website, and YouTube channel.

First ever specially adapted Relaxed Performances for people with additional needs, in collaboration with Festival Theatre Edinburgh.

A WEE VERSION OF A BIG BALLET
4,500 ‘Wee’ performances, a shortened version of our winter season production to introduce pre-schoolers to ballet, toured for the first time, with over 4500 adults and young attending across Scotland.

~ Scottish Ballet’s Associate programme (designed to provide professional level training to students between the ages of 9–17 years that have the physical and artistic potential to pursue a career in dance) increased by 15%.
11 A record 11 students from Senior Associates made the transition to full time training. Associates participants came from 27 Scottish local authorities (there are 32 Scottish local authorities in total).
