Dress a Girl Around the World provides dresses made from pillowcases to girls in need around the globe. This group meets monthly to sew dresses for our mission teams to give to girls in orphanages. The Heart-to-Heart Christian Chaplaincy Certification program is a formal and intense study that includes a 12-week theological module, a 10-week pastoral ministry module, and an 8-week ministry leadership module. Candidates must apply in advance, submit a pastor’s reference, and make a commitment to serve when certification is complete. The next group will begin on Thursday, August 25.

Submerged takes kids on an adventure like no other, deep within the mysterious sea. They’ll also sing and worship at The Helm, learn Bible stories at Observation Station, and have fun with deep sea crafts and games. ARMENIA: MEN’S CONSTRUCTION TEAM Armenia was the first sovereign nation to adopt Christianity in 301 AD, but now face a severe economic recession, high unemployment and rampant poverty. Young Life Armenia provides safe camp experiences where kids can meet and learn about Jesus. They use a facility that was formerly a Young Pioneer communism camp for kids before the fall of the Soviet Union and Armenia’s independence in 1991. The abandoned camp has taken on a new life, and although the existing structures are in disrepair, most are still stable enough to be renovated. Join this construction team to help rebuild the camp and provide more space for kids who are clamoring for the opportunity to get away from the pressures they face in everyday life. Leader:

SPAIN: CAMINO DE SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA According to legend, the bones of Saint James are buried in a cathedral in the town of Santiago de Compostela, and it has been a pilgrimage site since the 9th century. Even today, pilgrims make this trek, some hiking hundreds of miles through Spain, and many seeking a spiritual experience. Along the trails are refuges for pilgrims to stay overnight. Fuente del Peregrino is one such refuge run by Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru). This short-term team will provide hospitality and “gentle evangelism” in order to present the gospel to many whose hearts are open on this pilgrimage. Leader:

EGYPT: CAIRO FESTIVAL Along the desert highway between Cairo and Alexandria, more than 30,000 Egyptians will gather for the Count It Right Sports Festival this year. Hosted by Kasr El Dobara Church, the festival is full of activities during the day, with a ropes course, basketball, soccer, other sports, and professional athletes giving demonstrations and their testimonies. In the evenings, the crowds gather for a gospel message, praise and worship. Each year, thousands receive Christ and are followed up by the local churches. Be a part of this team to help with the various activities for adults and children at this amazing event. Side trips to the pyramids and the Nile are included. Leader:
