I have witnessed the sense of community that has formed among our local businesses in Hunt Country. That I could be a part of it — to highlight and bring it all together in a beautiful book — is an immense privilege. Of course I haven’t done it alone, far from it. There is a talented team behind every image in this book. The most gifted people I know have styled, photographed, dressed, coiffed, and designed each page to perfection. Not to mention the fabulous Hunt Country locations, props, ponies, and puppies provided by the generosity of friends, family, and strangers. Every person brings something special to the table. ¾ cup milk

Beat milk, eggs, sugar, flour, and salt in bowl until it

about 2 minutes. Remove pan from heat and swirl to

Pour the batter into the hot skillet. Bake in the 400°F oven for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown on the edges. Cut it into wedges and serve immediately topped with fresh mixed berries, powdered sugar, or local honey.
