The Scout Guide: San Antonio, TX Vol. 1

Page 1

Although I had been away from San Antonio

for many years, my husband brought us back after falling in love with the city upon his first visit. San Antonio is a melting pot of history, culture, traditions and the friendliest of people. From the Riverwalk, or as my mom called it “the Venice of Texas, to the Missions, Pearl area, Southtown, Fiesta and the Spurs, this eclectic mix of the old and new leaves many visitors remembering much more than just the Alamo. This guide showcases the heart, soul and flavor of the people who make up the best of local businesses in our historic city. I dedicate this book to the born-and-raised San Antonians such as my mother, and the visitors such as my husband who appreciate this small, local town in a big, multicultural city. VIVA SA N A NTONIO!
