Camp Equipment This resource can help with the following Camping areas: • Stage 3: I know why we bring certain gear on camp for our team. • Stage 4: I know how to use our team gear correctly and safely. • Stage 5: I know what team equipment to bring on various types of camps. Ok so you are all set to go camping, your dates are set, and the program in made out, menu is done. So now it’s time to the get the Group equipment ready. But what do you need to bring? Well a lot depends on how many are going, how long you are going for, and what type of camping you intend to do. So to help attached are a few lists, and while it’s not an exhaustive list, it’s merely a recommendation, Some groups may have other equipment that they wish to bring, but as a minimum this is what we would be recommending. It is important that when finished the camping activity, the gear is put away. The Tents and dining Shelters are all dry when stored, the Pegs are cleaned off, The Pots and Pans are cleaned, the gases are Marked full/half/empty. Also when leaving the site do a final walkdown to pick up and bin all Rubbish
