Open Call for Volunteer Resource Management & Group Support Core Team The Volunteer Resource Management & Group Support Scouting Ireland wish to recruit suitable people for their Core Team. The Core Team provides advice and support to the Department. To view the detailed summary of the Department, please click HERE Composition The Core Team is made up as follows: • • • •
Volunteers and staff members (including department manager) with the appropriate skills and experience. The Chair, who must be a volunteer, will be chosen from within the core team on an annual basis Volunteer members will serve for a maximum of three years on the core team The core team can co-opt member(s) as and when required.
Competencies It is anticipated that the members of the team will have the expertise to assist with the roles of the department. These core teams are being established to provide executive support in implementing the programmes of the departments in line with the Scouting Ireland strategy.
