Call for SCoVE Ambassadors
Background IVSA’s partner, Vetstream would like a representaCve Ambassador from each Vet School to promote vetstream! What is vetstream: It’s content currently consists of 19,000 assets comprising of text, diagrams and images covering topics relevant to clinical veterinary treatment of dogs, cats, rabbits and horses with its primary focus on the provision of content for use by veterinarians in the course of their clinical work as veterinarians. www.vetstream.com
What responsibilities does a SCoVE Ambassador have? As SCoVE Ambassadors, you will promote Vetstream to the staff and students at your Veterinary School via: Ø Placing posters on noCceboards at the School. Ø CirculaCng newsleJers to students about the value of Vetstream’s services. Ø Social media Ø PosCng informaCon on any Intranet that the School or any Veterinary Student AssociaCon may have access to. Ø Informally promote SCoVE’s projects. Ø MeeCngs with the University Staff/Dean.
⇒ Encouraging the Veterinary School to take an IP authenCcated licence to access Vetstream’s services for both staff and students across the veterinary school’s campuses.
What benefits will SCoVE Ambassadors receive? ü A financial reward will be paid by Vetstream to the IVSA Member OrganisaCon (MO) and then to the SCoVE Ambassador. The SCoVE Ambassador will receive £200 in the first year and £150 in the years aXer. The MO will receive £100 the first year and £150 the second year. ü Webinars and content specifically for SCoVE Ambassadors will be provided by WikiVet. ü Discount vouchers in the first year aXer graduaCon for eLearning modules, paper or eBooks.
