Annie Seo, piano
Annie Seo is a senior at Emory University pursuing a double major in applied mathematics and statistics and music. She is originally from Seattle and has been playing piano for 16 years. Seo has studied solo and collaborative piano works under Elena Cholakova for the past four years. Seo has performed collaborative works at various festivals where she was recognized as an outstanding soloist. She has also performed in the pit orchestra for various musicals such as The Addams Family, Little Shop of Horrors, and Assassins. Outside of music, Seo leads Emory FLIP (FirstGen, Low-income Partnership) to build resources and create an inclusive community for FLI students. She also directs Women in STEM to provide career-related support for women who are pursuing male-dominated STEM fields. Additionally, Seo is the recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship and Bill Fox Scholarship. Upon graduating, Seo will work as a software engineer in San Francisco.
Seo would like to thank Elena Cholakova for her invaluable guidance and mentorship, as well as her family and friends for supporting her musical journey.

Francis Peng and Annie Seo
Francis Peng is a senior at Emory University studying economics, mathematics, and music. He was born and raised in Palo Alto, California, and has been playing piano since age five. Peng began his piano studies with Karen Lin Peng, and through the years has also studied with JeanDavid Coen. He currently studies with Elena Cholakova. Peng is also a member and former music director of Aural Pleasure A Cappella, leading the group to third place at the 2023 ICCA South Quarterfinal in Athens, Georgia. Outside of music, Peng is completing his honors thesis in economics as well as quantitative political science research for the QTM department. He is a member of the Interdisciplinary Exploration and Scholarship (IDEAS) Fellowship of the Institute for the Liberal Arts in addition to the Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Epsilon honor societies. Peng plans to work in economic consulting upon returning to the Bay Area this summer, with plans to pursue graduate studies in the future.
Peng would like to thank Elena Cholakova for her teaching, support, and for making his continued music education at Emory a joy. He would also like to thank his parents for their unending encouragement.
