Atlanta Master Chorale lost one of its dearest and most cherished fans. Cleo Mansour, who along with her late husband, Dr. Kamal Mansour, were long-time, loyal subscribers and major donors to our Chorale. While we are saddened by her loss, we are ever-grateful for such a longtime friend. Eric and Susan Nelson beautifully captured this amazing woman in the following tribute:
You know the saying, “Good things come in small packages.” That would certainly apply to Cleo Mansour. She was a generous patron of Atlanta Master Chorale, a talented translator who was fluent in thirteen languages, and a beloved friend. When we think of Cleo, we will remember how much she loved God, how very kind she was, and how much we will miss her gentle smile.
Cleo led an amazing life as a mom, medical researcher, benefactor to many organizations, and working until recently as a translator at the Atlanta Airport’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Terminal.
