The War Comes to Plum Street Bruce Smith, author, to speak and sign books Visit HCHS on Homecoming Weekend Bruce Smith, author of The War Comes to Plum Street, will be at HCHS on Saturday, September 11, 2-4 p.m. Smith will give a brief presentation about his book and autograph your copy. Light refreshments will be offered, as well as tours through the Museum. Needed: Pandemic Ephemera We are curating information and objects from the current coronavirus pandemic and quarantine. Items of interest would be from use in Henry County, such as unused masks, signage, and photos. We have curated articles from The Courier-Times, but we need other kinds of published communication and items used during the pandemic. Photos are wonderful at capturing memories, such as quarantine proms, graduations, and birthday parties. If you would like to share, please consider sending us copies.
