As I reflect on the 2023-2024 school year, I am proud of the extraordinary growth this past year has brought. A YEAR OF GROWTH
This year has been marked by remarkable achievements and growth driven by our community's unparalleled commitment and generosity. Through the collective efforts of parents, alums, faculty, and friends, we raised nearly 3.5 million dollars for the Sierra Canyon Fund. This invaluable support has propelled our school forward, enriching the educational experience for our students and enhancing our state-of-the-art facilities From the opening of the Kardashian Jenner Pavilion, The Barn, and the Nikou Family Field, we celebrate the profound effect of these contributions on every aspect of our school.

Sierra Canyon's commitment to providing a well-rounded education is the core of who we are, creating an environment that nurtures not only academic excellence but also personal growth, creativity, and perspective. Throughout the year, our students demonstrated exceptional dedication and intellectual curiosity, achieving success across all academic disciplines. From witnessing one of our own be crowned a world champion in mathematics to the Class of 2024 matriculating to top colleges and universities, this year has been filled with academic milestones that reflect the hard work and dedication of our students and faculty.
Arts
The 2023-2024 school year was an incredible period of artistic growth. The Performing Arts Department flourished with outstanding productions of Romeo and Juliet, Something Rotten, and Matilda the Musical, showcasing the immense talents and dedication of our Trailblazers This year, we proudly hosted an All-School Arts Fest, a month-long celebration featuring a diverse array of events, including an Art Exhibition, Concert in the Canyon, One Night Only, and the Film Festival. This showcase brought our Pre-K–12th Grade community together through the creativity, expression, and inspiring artistic achievements at each divisional level.
Athletics Community CREATIVITY,&CONFIDENCE
The Sierra Canyon Athletics Program is recognized among the best in the country, and it continues to push boundaries and set records. This year was no exception with back-to-back Mission League championships in Football, Girls Volleyball, and Girls Tennis We celebrated the inaugural seasons of Girls Golf and Competitive Cheer adding new dimensions to our athletic offerings. Our Lower School student athletes shined in the San Fernando Valley Private School League demonstrating outstanding skill and teamwork. Balancing academic rigor with athletic commitments, our student-athletes exemplified the ability to achieve greatness in and out of the classroom.
Community events play a vital role in fostering a sense of belonging and unity within the Sierra Canyon family. From our Family Pep Rally, Grandparents Day, and the Great Fair to Lunar New Year, Black History Month, and World Languages Week, our diverse community celebrated the rich tapestry of backgrounds and traditions that make Sierra Canyon unique. These gatherings provide opportunities for connection, celebration, and collaboration strengthening the bonds that define our community We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our exceptional parent volunteers for enriching our community by sharing their diverse perspectives and experiences
