OurMiddleSchoolTrailblazersalsofoundsuccessthisspring.TheTrackandFieldTeamplacedinthe DelphicLeagueinthefollowingevents:highjump(1st),shotput(2nd),Boys100m(2nd), Boys4x100Relay(2nd),andBoys4x400mRelay(3rd).Additionally,threestudent-athletesfrom theGolfTeamadvancedtotheDelphicLeagueFinals.
Ouryoungeststudent-athletesmadetheirmark,with71%of4th-6thGradestudents participatingincompetitivesportsthisseason.The6thGradeGirlsVolleyballTeamfinishedundefeated andwontheSanFernandoValleyPrivateSchoolLeagueChampionship,whiletheBoysSoccerTeam wentundefeatedinleagueplayandlostinthesemifinals.

Concert in the Canyon showcasestheyear'sworkofour LowerandUpperCampusMusicprograms.Theconcert featurestalentedmusiciansinourLowerandUpper Campusensemblesperformingadiversemixofmusic rangingfromJamiroquaiandDaveMatthewsBandto FrankOceanandBobMarley.Thefinale,featuring musiciansfromalllevels,isapowerfultestamenttothe unityandcollaborationthatdefineSierraCanyon's Musicprogram.
DuringArtsFest,SierraCanyonSchoolcelebratesourstudents'richanddiversetalents intheVisualandPerformingArts.Eachspring,thismonth-longshowcaseoffersa widerangeofeventstohighlightourstudents'creativity,expression,andextraordinary artisticachievementsateachdivisionallevel.
One Night Only celebratestheUpperCampusDance programwithaspecialguestperformancebythe LowerSchoolDanceCompanyA/B.Theshowfeatures variousstylesandstudentchoreography.Attheclosingof theperformance,studentsarerecognizedforartistic merit,leadership,andacademicdanceachievementina NationalHonorsSocietyforDanceArtsinduction ceremony.Inductionisearnedthroughmeritoriouswork indance,maintainingahighGPA,anddemonstrating excellentcharacter.
TheFilmFestivalisabelovedSierraCanyontradition. TheeventshowcasesthetalentofourSCfilmmakerson thebigscreenandaselectionofcuratedfilmsfromhigh schoolandcollegestudentsfromaroundthecountry. TheFestivalalsofeaturesanexclusivecollegefair, showcasingesteemedinstitutionssuchasArtCenter CollegeofDesign,LoyolaMarymountUniversity,USC, WoodburyUniversity,andmanymore.
