The area counts with 7,000 cenotes but Gran Cenote is a must see, with its large beautiful garden cenote and its white sand beach. The caves are easily accessible for scuba diving, and by just sticking your face into the water you will be able to see huge stalagmites, stalactites and columns. Cavern divers will enjoy this circular shaped cenote and its underwater wonderland.

The place is really famous for excellent scuba diving as it offers crystalline and warm waters. Anse Chastanet is in one of the most scenic settings the Caribbean has to offer, with abundant marine life. The entire region is protected as it has been vested into an award winning marine reserve (SMMA) since 1995. Besides the pristine beauty of St Lucia’s coral reefs, Anse Chastanet also comprises of a marine plateau and dramatic slopes that fall away to a depth of more than 140ft.

The Zanzibar archipelago is a fabulous place to visit on your scuba diving holiday. Not yet a very popular destination, its stunning seascapes, diving conditions and the growing amount of resorts will soon make of Zanzibar a must-dive place. There are some spots that divers around the world dream about. The Blue Hole is one of those. Located in Egypt, eastern Sinai, 8 km north of Dahab. This is a famously dangerous site for scuba diving. Imagine the north of Dahab, a few kilometers from the city, a water hole with a bottom located at more than 100 meters below the surface. At 55m underwater, you will find an arch, about 10 meters long, giving access to a fall of more than 700m. This is one of the treasures that Dahab hides.
