One can feel the energy starting to build as we approach the start of our new season. The start of the season is a busy time for our treasurer, Pattie Horning, who is very instrumental in the registration process. She works closely with the vice president during registration on the Golf Genius System. During the season, she handles all the club money. She provides each Patti Horning, treasurer member a very professional, detailed report of expenses and income at each monthly club general meeting. Pattie is a strong team player, always willing to volunteer for what might be needed for the club and to assist anyone who needs help. The club is very fortunate to have Pattie as its treasurer. Thanks, Pattie, for all you do.

The summer fun continues with several members golfing at Gold Canyon with pool time and a great meal.

Be sure to mark your calendars: Registration begins in October.

Convenient community restaurant, lounge and terrace offering an enjoyable experience in food, drinks and entertainment. Food & Beverage Director - Aalt Brouwer abrouwer@suncityorovalley.com 520-917-8074

The restaurant is getting back to normal after a very bizarre year. Karaoke has begun again on Sunday nights. Wine and Tapas with Joe Bourne will resume in September, when Joe gets back from his tour. We have live entertainment on Friday and Saturday. The community table starts up again from 11 AM-2 PM and 6-8 PM, Monday through Thursday, for those wanting to meet new friends in our community. Just a reminder: we don’t take reservations; however, for parties larger than six, we appreciate a heads-up call prior to your arrival.

Everyone who has used the SCOV Loan Room knows what a blessing it is to have so many items available to borrow. The Sun City Vistoso (SCV) Community Foundation’s grant allowed volunteers to computerize the items and develop a convenient reservation and checkout procedure. Thanks to the Sun City Loan Room volunteers, who make this service run so well.

Residents like you, who have donated to the SCV Foundation, provide the funds to enable this and many other projects that benefit all of us.
