May Aerification : The Greens will be aerified on May 21 and 22. The back 9 will be closed on Monday and the lower putting green will be closed also. The front 9 will be closed on Tuesday. If you are playing 18 holes, you will play the same side twice. Thank you for your patience. On May 29, we will be plugging Tees’s fairways and surrounds.

Hole Closures Any hole closures that we will have for the day will be posted on the pro shop counter for the summer.

Tee Time Change Beginning Tues May 1, tee times will start at 6:30. The 18 hole ladies will have 3-4 tee times reserved starting at 7:30. Please sign up on golf genius. Tee times will run from 6:30-5:00.

Snakes Please be careful!! With the hotter temperatures come the snakes. Please be careful if you enter the desert to retrieve a ball. Do not reach into bushes… remember it is only a golf ball

Wednesday May 2 – Men’s Club – 7:30 SG, Tee Times will start @ 8:54.

Summer Rates Begin On May 1, our resident summer rates begin. 18 Holes is only $29 in the morning (until 11:00) from 11:00-5:00 it will be $17 for residents and their guests. 9 hole rates are as follows- $19 before 11:00 and $17 from 11:00-5:00. Cart fees will be $7 per person for 18 holes and $5 for 9 holes.

May 1 – 9 hole clubs 7:30 SG (both clubs on same 9) Tee times will start @ 8:45-5:00 Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon and Tues – Tee Time Days 6:30 am – 5:00 pm – unless otherwise stated.

Snow birds If you are leaving Arizona to return to family, please stop by the golf shop and say goodbye. We wish you all a very safe trip and an enjoyable summer. See you in the fall


Sand Bottles If you have not done so already, please change your sand & seed bottles to just sand. Thank you. Go ahead and use up what you have left in your bottles and then refill with just sand. Pro Tip: Flop Shot- Have you ever wanted to hit a flop shot like Phil Mickelson? Here are a few tips on how you can: Open the club face and relax your grip. Angle your upper body so your right shoulder is lower than your left. Swing back, set your hands, and swing through without letting your right hand roll over. Pretend that you’re throwing a ball underhand with your right hand through the shot Hole in Ones Congratulations to Roy Bahnson for his hole in one on 4/6/18. Roy recorded his ace on hole # 3 from 125 yards using a driver. His witnesses were Bob Kornkven and Bruce Dvorak. Congratulations to David Stankiewicz for his hole in one on 4/7/18. David recorded his ace on hole # 3 from 144 yards using a 9 iron. His witnesses were Mike Stankiewicz, Darwin Priebe and Bob Henderson. Congratulations to Debbie Allen for her hole in one on 4/15/18. Debbie recorded her ace on hole # 7 from 128 yards using a 7 iron. Debbie’s witnesses were Debbie Huffman, Rod Huffman and Ron Allen.

Congratulations to Jeff Verhaam for his hole in one on 4/20/18. Jeff recorded his ace on hole # 12 from 160 yards using a 4 rescue. His witnesses were Jerry Davis and Dick Kroese. Thanks again for a great season, and let’s all have a great summer.
