Carolyn E. Mosby’s illustrious career is a testament to her role as a beacon of economic empowerment and a champion for minority business development. As the former President and CEO of the Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council, Mosby played a critical role in launching a significant business accelerator program and generating a $19.1 billion economic impact, facilitating unprecedented growth and collaboration between minority businesses and large corporations. Her tenure at Kiwanis International as the first African-American executive and her strategic influence at Veolia Water Indianapolis, LLC, further highlights her broad impact across various sectors. Additionally, Mosby's experience as Government and Community Affairs Manager for USX Corporation at U.S. Steel Gary Works underlines her extensive expertise in corporate and community relations.

As the daughter of the late Indiana State Senator Carolyn Brown Mosby, her legacy is enriched by a heritage of pioneering public service, embodying a holistic vision of leadership that transcends professional achievements to encompass a profound commitment to societal advancement and personal resilience.

Mandy joins us today from ADVISA, a leadership development firm, where she’s a Leadership Consultant. Mandy’s long history as a brand strategist in advertising culminates today in her work with leaders aiming to be more effective.
She writes a bi-monthly Workplace column in the IBJ (Indianapolis Business Journal) on the subject. A contributor to Fast Company magazine, a guest lecturer at Butler University, and a gardening nut, Mandy partners with organizations coast to coast to ensure people are their greatest asset, not their biggest challenge.

Rhoda Nyce is a wife, mother, employment readiness consultant, human resource professional, and a strong advocate for helping women find what brings them joy in life. Rhoda is part of the Insomnia Mom family who works to provide tools and services to assist busy professionals and parents in accomplishing their goals and prioritizing their productive hours. She spent 16 years at Lilly before branching off on her own to help small businesses recruit top talent. Rhoda has her PHR, Professional in Human Resources and her SHRM-CP, Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional. She currently resides in Zionsville with her husband and son.

Be Well Family Care
Swathi Rao PA-C, an experienced family medicine practitioner, specializes in functional medicine, a field she has been deeply involved in since graduating with honors from Butler University's Physician Assistant program. Swathi's commitment led her to become one of the first IFM Certified Providers in 2015, and she now contributes as a mentor and speaker. In 2017, she founded Be Well Family Care in Carmel, Indiana, known for its comprehensive functional medicine services and educational programs. Swathi resides in Carmel with her family and dog Percy and dedicates time to the Children’s Theraplay Foundation and the Carmel Kiwanis Club.
