unworldly There is a double heighted structure glazing at the entrance lobby, which welcomes the guests with a refreshing sight outside the glazing. The formal living hall and family space creates a link between the interior and exterior. Every room in the house has a connection with nature. There is a flawless harmony of design and nature in the Nest Bungalow. The planning was smoothly guided by this factor as the inside and outside spaces connect the interior with some natural element. To blend with nature more suitably, a natural water body is installed around the living room. The essence of the room is set right with the water body. A large party lawn is designed right in front of the bungalow which naturally

the challenges “The major challenge was to connect the design with nature and vis-a-vis maintaining privacy indoors. The entire dwelling is designed inside out. This whole intermingling of nature with the house has been a challenging journey with some exquisite lessons. - Manish Banker.
the influences The design philosophy was derived from the very challenge of blending nature in every design element. Hence, the residence is broadly divided into two parts with the help of long running malad stone wall which defines common and private areas of the bungalow. Courtyards help to create micro nature within the private spaces. Living spaces are like the extension of the nature outside which runs in the residence through a transparent glass membrane. Single floating roof over the house defines the protection shield for the entire residence while reflecting unity.
