The project explored simplicity and robustness in keeping with the Vaastu context while creating generosity and connections of space. The entire design balances every aspect with a central nodal space that elevates two wings. The double height living room is the nuclei of the house, giving the required visual, interactive connection to all the spaces in the house. This nodal space with its circular form links the various bedrooms that are located in the two wings of the house. While, the junction of the two wings harbours the common areas that directly overlooks into the nodal space. Further to this the location of the nodal space is such that it faces the most green and peaceful surroundings of the site, the 2 acre common green garden across the road. Play in the Section and raising of ground floor by 1500mm and then steeping the 1st and 2nd floor back helps connects all floors to the 2 acre garden; hiding the road in section. The vertical transition in the house is also a part of this nodal space. This transition becomes interesting as it not only overlooks the living room but also the water body surrounding the living space and the 2 acre garden beyond.

Challenges Other than the regular challenges, we faced difficulty in composite structure of structural steel and RCC both the staircases and their respective railings, curved glass in facade and HPL cladding on major sections. We were able to adequately overcome these challenges with our extensive co-ordination with the respective vendors.
