We know that the learning you do outside of the classroom can be just as important as the things you learn in it. Industry trips, workshops and guest speakers are essential elements to our courses. That’s why we work hard to make sure these experiences are valuable and the best they can be. Opportunities to visit businesses and organisations related to your subject will help to expand your imagination and inspire you to reach your career goals.

Our students have visited some top cities in the UK and around the world to learn about history, culture, and tourism.

Business and Economics students benefit from trips to London’s business district to analyse business functions, economics and finance. They’ve also had incredible trips to China and visits to one of Coca Cola’s biggest European factories in Budapest.

Our Sports and Public Services students take part in a whole host of outdoor activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing, whitewater rafting, and coasteering.

Travel and Tourism students have the opportunity to gain an insight into local tourism businesses and attractions such as the BA i360, the London Eye, Thorpe Park, and Gatwick Airport, as well as travel abroad to top tourism destinations in Spain and Italy.

Each year, our Early Years students travel to Budapest to visit the famous Peto Institute, which cares for children with Cerebral Palsy. They also visit an orphanage and mental health institute to get an unforgettable look at the childcare practices in Hungary.

And since 2017, over 300 of our students have been able to visit Seville for a month-long work experience placement. They work in businesses and sectors related to their courses, allowing them to learn a great deal about their subjects while experiencing the Spanish culture.
