As long as I can remember, SDM has always been your voice in KSU. Year after year, our main priority was always to put forward a set of more than capable candidates from all over University and all walks of life. This was done because we truly believe that the student body deserves to be represented as a whole and every student deserves to be heard. This is why last year the slogan chosen for the KSU elections 2022 was ´LGħajta Tiegħek’.
However, this year we wanted to go a step further. Within this publication, we are proudly presenting 116 proposals which where created in accordance with your wants and needs, whilst keeping in mind your difficulties and criticism. I am very optimistic that every single proposal in this manifesto is suitable and beneficial towards every University of Malta and Junior College student.
A manifesto that is socially sensitive and focuses on outreach, in order for KSU to be closer to you. Sustainability, because your future is our priority. A much needed focus on our Gozitan students and finally accessibility and inclusion because every student deserves to have a holistic learning environment at UM.
In conclusion, I wish to make it crystal clear that although this is our proposed vision, we will still continue to listen and gather feedback from every single student and we are humbly asking for your support in this coming election in order to create an environment which our slogan embodies.
