During this year’s festive episode, Mother Mildred and the Nonnatus House team of midwives go to the Outer Hebrides, a remote, idyllic Scottish island, in response to a nursing shortage. Navigating the terrain, they strive to keep up with the needs of the locals. Exposed to the elements, they operate in bleak conditions with limited access to water and electricity to help their patients, just in time to reconvene in Poplar for Christmas.

For the 15th straight year, Christmas at Belmont brings warm holiday music and cheer to households across the country. This holiday tradition from Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center features various university ensembles spanning pop, country, classical, jazz and other genres of music. Also features Michael W. Smith, CeCe Winans, and the Nashville Children’s Choir.

Country Christmas Show with Sherwin & Pam Linton and the Cotton Kings

Join Midwest country music legend Sherwin Linton, Pam Linton and the Cotton Kings in a live performance recorded at the Aberdeen Civic Theatre in 2018. As a 16-year-old in Watertown, Linton had his own country music show on KWAT Radio. In 1986, Linton’s Christmas novelty song, “Santa Got a DUI,” was a regional hit. The 2018-19 Aberdeen Central A Capella Choir joins Linton, wife Pam and band the Cotton Kings.
