4. Will the UMC running backs add to their production from the first two weeks? UMC’s running backs are averaging just 59 yards/ game through the first two.
UMC freshman wide receiver Jordan Hester had a breakout game against Southwest Minnesota State last weekend. Hester had seven receptions for 69 yards with two touchdowns with a long reception of 41 yards against the Mustangs. Look for Hester to continue to have an impact for the Golden Eagles
5. Can Drew Selvestra and the UMC defensive line put pressure on Jack Nelson? Selvestra had a strong week last weekend with two sacks? Can he follow this up?

Minnesota Crookston defensive end Drew Selvestra is coming off a strong weekend against Southwest Minnesota State University in which he led the team with 10 tackles, two sacks and two tackles for loss. Selvestra has been a staple on the defensive line for the past three seasons for UMC. He is currently third on the team with 14 tackles, while his two sacks lead the way for any UMC defensive player.

#WatchoutforConnette UMC freshman wide receiver Adam Connette, a native of Corona, Calif., has been one of UMC’s standouts through the first two weeks. Connette has 13 receptions for 157 yards and a touchdown through two games. In addition, Connette through a 31-yard touchdown pass to Dante Jones against Southwest Minnesota State University last weekend.
