Senior outside hitter Brittany Looker has continued her strong start to her senior season. Looker leads the NSIC with 4.63 kills per set and is averaging 2.67 digs per set. She has four matches this season with 20 or more kills. Looker looks poised to at least follow up her All-NSIC First Team selection, a season ago, if not be an All-American candidate by the end of the year

UMC redshirt freshman Kassi Green has had a strong start to her first season playing with the Golden Eagles after redshirting in 2013. Green is averaging 1.93 kills per set and hitting .190. Green tallied 11 kills at Bemidji State and 10 against No. 21 Augustana.
UMC senior middle hitter Morgan VanGerpen continues to move up in the record books for blocks. VanGerpen is third all-time for total blocks with 305. She needs 23 to surpass Kendra Corneliusen in second. She is now second in block assists with 252 and needs 31 to surpass Erin Flynn. In addition, she is tied for fourth with 55 solo blocks in her career.
