UMC junior guard Alexa Thielman has had a great start to 2015. Thielman is averaging 22.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in the first six games of 2015. Thielman is coming off a 32-point performance, including 27 in the second half and overtime, as UMC took down Minnesota State last Saturday. The Golden Eagles have opened 2015 with a 5-1 mark, owing a lot of their success to Thielman’s play. Thielman is the reigning NSIC North Player of the Week after her role in UMC’s wins over Minnesota State and Concordia.
