UMC freshman forward/cetner Emily Gruber has improved throughout the season for the Golden Eagles. Gruber averaged 11.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game as Minnesota Crookston picked up wins over U-Mary and Minot State.

UMC picked up a sweep with a 71-54 win over University of Mary and a 59-45 win over Minot State University. Coming into the game, UMC had lost three of their last four games by an average of 4.7 points per game. The Golden Eagles left little doubt as they started out 2015 in fine fashion with convincing wins over the Marauders and Beavers.
