S T U D E N T I M PA C T | C H A N G I N G L I V E S Economic Crisis Response Team “ The Economic Crisis Response Team (ECRT) has been such a blessing in my life! Without the help of ECRT, I would not have been able to finish the semester. The resources ECRT provides have helped me so much that words cannot express how grateful I am. I was helped financially and given a laptop and wifi to help with school. SDSU’s ECRT has helped students who are not as privileged as others. From housing to financial hardship, ECRT is there to help you every step of the way!” - Jeah Telebrico, Linguistics

Cultural Centers | Harold K. Brown Knowledge, Education and Empowerment Program (KEEP) “ Participating in the HB KEEP program was an incredible experience. The staff, program mentors, and guest speakers presented valuable knowledge, insightful information, and support during and after scheduled meetings. I gained so much direction on all the necessary aspects to start and maintain a business or non-profit, which encouraged me to put my non-profit ideas into action. Most importantly, the staff proved that they genuinely care for the students as they displayed love, encouragement, care, and overall support of our ideas and goals. I can’t wait to participate in the HB KEEP program again!” - Akilah Wayne, Africana Studies

Educational Opportunities Program & Ethnic Affairs (EOP) “ EOP is built on a block of intersectionality. A place of normalcy, comfortability, and a strong continuous foundation for first-generation, low-income students like myself. EOP is a safe harbor for students; a place to be leaders on campus, a place without retaliation, and most importantly a support system that is willing to stand beside me in fighting for change.” - Bao Lam, Undergraduate Studies
