EXPERIENCE NATURE AS YOU HARVEST

@colornoun Clam digging on the Washington coast! Be surrounded by nature and the ocean ecosystem as you harvest the sea. Everything you need You can get a license to dig clams: online at WDFW, in Pacific Beach at the You & I Market, or in Seabrook at Buck’s Northwest. Buck’s also has shovels, clam guns, clam bags, headlamps, ... and guided clam digging experiences. Guided experiences Stop by Buck’s for more information on the guided dig experiences. Beaches The beach right below Seabrook is called Mocrocks beach, so all scheduled digs for Mocrocks are right at Seabrook. Copalis Beach is just south of Seabrook ~10 miles so you can easily head down there for some clamming as well. Let’s go Grab your rain boots, galoshes, waterproof gear, and meet us on the beach. Don’t forget your lantern, and remember, the limit is 15 clams per license, so plenty of fun to be had in the surf ! Find more at wdfw.wa.gov. 1

With kings tides and volatile weather conditions, we want to mention Seabrook’s Beach Warning Flags to indicate tide, surf, and beach safety. The red flag represents high hazard conditions. The yellow flag represents moderate hazard conditions, and green represents calm conditions. Seabrook’s Safety Officers, Landscapers, and CAM, Safety, Erosion Control, & Infrastructure Manager, Eli Abbott assess using resources including NOAA, AccuWeather, and Grays Harbor Emergency Alerts/ Management before changing the flag color. Be aware of the stairs at Northwest Glen, the loading-dock style ramp is removed for safe keeping during big tides and heavy storms (when the flag is red and sometimes when it is yellow). The “Beach Access Caution Signage” is permanently fixed at the top of the stair access as a reminder to proceed with caution. Take good care and enjoy your stay at Seabrook.
