You can hear that familiar network Olympic song now – we hear it everyday for two weeks every two years alternating Summer and Winter Olympic Games. This year’s Olympics were delayed by a year due to COVID-19. But athletes arrived in Tokyo and are bringing us their best competitiveness. In the spirit of the Olympic Games and for the ‘thrill of victory and agony of defeat’, Seabrook is hosting the Summer Games where everyone who participates wins! The first 150 winners are awarded a Chocolate Medal (like a Gold Medal, only you can eat it). Stop by Guest Services Concierge and pick up the Instruction Booklet for the ‘sport’ of your choice — or all of them. Let the Summer Games begin! Badminton for Belarus

Kite Flying Face away from the wind and hold your kite where the string attaches to the kite. Let go in the wind. Pickleball Like tennis/badminton, the goal is to hit the ball onto the other side’s court without them returning it. Running Make your game of distance, scoring, rules! Shuffleboard Stand at the baseline and slide the discs across the court and into the scoring areas. Soccer Kick and pass the ball between teammates with the end objective of kicking the ball into the goal. Skimboarding Find a shallow body of water, hold the board with one hand on the tail end, and the other on the side. Get a running start. Simultaneously drop the board while placing your back foot towards the end of the board, and lead foot at the front. Skim along the water. Swimming Make own game with distance, scoring, rules! Tennis When playing with two people (“singles”), use the inside lines, length wise on the court. Use the entire court when playing with four people (“doubles”). Each point starts with a serve from whoever scored the previous point.
