Th eSt r ange r. com /Slog Debuted last week and Seabrook is abuzz with the latest food truck addition, Cookie’s Country Chicken! Brian “Cookie” Chandler successfully built his food’s popularity in Seattle in Pioneer Square as a popup, where his creations often sell out. These fried chicken creations are served up standalone, as tenders, and in sandwiches. Along with other food truck favorites, Cookie’s is preparing picnic packs for the beach, and takeaway family meals. And, they have remembered their vegetarian-ish friends by offering Country Slaw and Classic Three-Bean Salad sides... and Creamy Mac and Cheese... if you do.

From cookiescountrychicken.com, “Cookie’s believes that food is more than just food. We believe a meal can bring people together, that it can feed more than just a belly, it can feed the heart and soul.” Cookie’s food truck is located behind the upcoming Rising Tide Tavern and next to SeaWorthy Home on Meriweather Street. They operate in Seabrook Thursday Dinner 4:00 to 8:00, Friday Lunch 11:30 to 2:30, Friday Dinner 4:30 to 8:00, Saturday Lunch 11:30 to 2:30, Saturday Dinner 4:30 to 8:00, and Sunday Lunch 11:30 to 4:00.
