Trick: Hire a Wedding Coordinator

Set a Budget... Tip:and Stay with It A wedding is one of the most exciting events that you will ever plan. It is an amazing celebration of joining two people as well as families and friends. Along with an amazing celebration, there comes a price tag. The best way to host your dream wedding without breaking the bank is to know what your budget is and stay within it. It can be easy to blow your budget if your are not tracking your spending and then have to cut your late night snack or that extra appetizer that you really loved. Our best advice: add things up as you go along and write everything down. Putting numbers to paper make them real and help you and your partner keep track of where you are. If you deside to spend extra in on area, make sure to pull it from another so you do not find at the end of the day that you are way over your budget.

Vendor Highlight

Whether you are inviting 75 or 750 guests, all other details involved in planning a wedding can be overwhelming. There are so many details that go into planning a wedding, that couples can easily get overwhelmed. Throw in the opinions of loved ones and some unsolicited advice, you have the recipe for confusion and "too many cooks in the kitchen". Hiring a wedding coordinator can help with your wedding planning worries. This is not only someone who plans large scale events for a living, but is also an outside person who has had a lot of experience working with a variety of personalities. They are able to keep the focus on you and your fiance's wants and need, since this day is about the two of you at its core. A coordinator will help you hone in on your vision to create a beautiful day that flows just how you have been imagining it. Coordinators also have lots of connections and vendors to recommend for you. It can be very difficult to find the right vendors because you are basing your choice off of other people's experiences. If you can get the insight from someone who understands the wedding you want, you will be far better off. One of the biggest advantages to hiring a wedding coordinator is that on the day of your wedding that is the individual who is the point person and will handle all of the little bumps and details of the day! You and all of you guest are able to just relax and celebrate without worrying about setup or details.

What's Trending I'm Jessica, owner and lead designer for SWD Floral. I have had the honor of being a part of the biggest day in people's lives since 2014! What started as a favor for a friend, turned into a business where I get to bring life and beauty to some of life's biggest celebrations. In addition to weddings, we design for baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties and corporate events. Flowers bring so much color, texture and not to be forgotten FRAGRANCE!! I enjoy bringing classic, timeless style with a twist to the events I design; an unexpected color combo or a unique texture. I strive to give my clients a one of a kind design that reflects their love story. When I'm not knee deep in flowers, I enjoy cooking and being outdoors (preferably by the beach) with my husband, our 18-month-old son and our two rescue terriers. @swdfloral

Dessert Displays

A wedding just isn't complete without a sweet treat at the end of the evening! But who says that has to be a traditional cake. Many couples are now moving towards a new dessert experience to include mini pastries, donuts or anything sweet. Dessert displays have been making a big splash are are being scene all over the area, in weddings big and small. Not only are dessert displays beautiful, they also offer a greater variety for your guests to choose from and can help better accommodate and include your guests that may have dietary restrictions. Many couples will incorporate a small cake for the classic cake cutting photos, but then let their imagination take hold.

The love story of Lana and Kyle began officially began in 2015, but they met though mutual friends five years earlier. The two have been inseparable since and a Christmas Eve proposal was a complete surprise for Lana. The couple wanted to keep their wedding close to home so distance would not be an issue for friends and family. After looking at a variety of venues all around the area Lana and Kyle said yes to SeaCliff. The friendly staff, great packages and SeaCliff having the look they wanted the most sealed the deal. According to the bride the big day was a dream. The whole day flowed perfectly and all of the food was amazing. The couple said that they got so many complements on the food! "The sea bass was not dry. The filets were cooked to perfection and the hors d’oeuvres were scrumptious." One of the most meaningful moments of the day was the groom breaking into song during his vows. It was so sweet and genuine. But the favorite moment of the day was the first look. You could really feel the love the couple shared and to them it was like there was no oneelse in the world. From the first glimse of Kyle's back, Lana had butterflies. With the bridal party and close family watching from a distance there was not a dry eye around. It was a moment that the couple will never forget.
