Who’s Ready for a Festive Trail?

A special festive activity that obeys all the Lockdown rules is being held at St Peter’s Church in Belgrave Road, Seaford, on Saturday 12th December. It is aimed at families and is a fun challenge that everyone can take part in, whether church members or not.

The idea, says the Rector, the Rev Arwen Folkes, is to with fun. On the trail they are invited to find clues that will be hidden on the route, up in trees for instance. It’s going to be rather like a festive treasure hunt.

There will also be an invitation to share an online crib service to be held on Sunday 20th December at 4.30pm. A crib will be placed outside the building (under cover if necessary, of course), and around it will offer the chance for families to take their daily exercise

All this is an enterprise by St Peter’s which, as with so many churches, has frustratingly been so restricted in activities this year, and is anxious to make some kind of festive mark this month in a way in which everyone can share.
