Why the property market in Seaford is so enduringly popular

If 2020 proved anything, it was that nothing is guaranteed and that future forecasts are nothing but educated guesses (some more than others). one thing which does seem predictable right now is the desirability of Seaford as a place to live.

Since Lockdown#1 ended it’s been non-stop in the local property market with us, and in fairness, our other agency colleagues, being incredibly busy. This is down to the two months where the property market was on hold. The Lockdown#2 (we write this a week into it) seems not as restrictive to estate agents as the first. The Stamp Duty Holiday has also fuelled this activity, but there are other factors at play.

Seaford was named as the second-best seaside town to live in the UK by a national paper. Other media picked up on this report and, Hey Presto! Our town is indeed on the national moving map. So, yes, we are seeing lots of interest from London buyers heading down here, but also due to Seaford’s popularity people who live here rarely want to move away. This drives demand for property even more, and we can’t see that changing anytime soon.
