Cas promised, we had a number of items relating to ONSTRUCTION our dear departed Sovereign, and inevitably Seaford was featured in postcards, together with the greatly missed Brighton Tigers ice-hockey team, and their home skating rink. A record audience showed their appreciation!

In October we will have had our ‘Hobbies Other Than
Stamps’ by the time this is published, and November will bring the rest of the alphabet through to ‘Z’. A few stamps will show what countries may feature –
Venezuela, Yemen, Zambia and Zaire. I hope West
Berlin puts in an appearance; one of most distinguished members was stationed there after WW2, to repair planes taking part in the Berlin Airlift of 1948/49.
We meet on the second Wednesday of the month, 7.15 for 7.30pm at the Con Club, in Seaford. Light refreshments are available. Please note the December meeting is our Xmas Dinner, which needs to be prebooked through our Treasurer, David Butti.
