Seaford music Society has an exciting series of concerts starting in the autumn and continuing through to spring 2022 to take place at Seaford baptist Church in belgrave road, bn25 2ee.
The first concert of the season will be held on Sunday 24th October at 3pm when the London Mozart Players Chamber Ensemble will be playing. Their programme features the Beethoven Septet, Devienne Bassoon Quartet and the World Premiere of a specially-commissioned work by Paul Lewis, entitled Seaford Snapshots.
During the Season there will be concerts given by The Bach Ensemble, The Marmen Quartet and the European Chamber Ensemble, as well as a Family Concert, ‘King Alfred, the Owl and the Nightingale’. The concert in March 2022 is a tribute to Kenneth V. Jones who lived in Seaford till his death a few months ago. An exploration of the music of this renowned film composer and the music that influenced him will be performed by friends and colleagues, curated and presented by composer Sally Beamish.
A Grand Concert is also planned for February 2022, to be held at The Grand Hotel, Eastbourne with an optional cream tea to follow!
