El diámetro interior de la estacionaria varía entre 1.0mm y 1.5mm según el tamaño del eje. Inside diameter for each seat is shaft size + 1.0mm up to 1.5mm according shaft size.

SISTEMAS DE FLUIDO BARRERA TR1 PARA SELLOS MECANICOS DOBLES El tanque reservorio TR1 se encuentra disponible para cubrir un gran rango de aplicaciones difíciles de sellar a nivel industrial donde se requiera el uso de un sello doble con sistema de ambientación de fluido barrera presurizado o no presurizado. El tanque es fabricado en acero inoxidable 316 con capacidad de 12 litros(3 galones) como estandar. Los reservorios pueden estar equipados con instrumentación y control de verificación automática de funcionamiento del sello mecánico y el apagado de la bomba en caso de presentarse alguna falla. La instrumentación puede incluir switche de alarma de nivel, manómetro de presión, indicador de temperatura y otros que sean requeridos. El sistema también puede incluir una bomba de recirculación según la necesidad del cliente. El tanque reservorio TR1 también se ofrece bajo requerimientos de la norma API 682 , los cuales pueden ser adaptados para los planes API 52/ANSI 7352( fluido de ambientación no presurizado) o API 53 A / ANSI 7353 A (fluido de ambientación presurizado).

La capacidad de los reservorios es de 12 lts (3 gal) o 20 lts (5 gal) dependiendo del diámetro del eje de la bomba conforme a los requisitos de la norma API 682.

BARRIER FLUID RESERVOIR TR1 FOR DUAL MECHANICAL SEALS. The reservoirs for TR1 is available to cover many difficult applications to seal in general industry where the use of dual mechanical seal can be required with a presurized or non presurized enviromental system. The reservoirs can be fitted with instrumentation and control for automatic checking of mechanical seal performance and pump shut down in case of mechanical seal failure. The instrumentation may include a level switch, pressure indicator, temperature indicator and others devices which can be required by customer. The system may be equipped with a recirculation pump according to customer´s order. The reservoirs for TR1 is available according to API 682 requeriments. The reservoirs can be used with plans API 52 / ANSI7352 (non presurized barrier fluid) or API 53A /ANSI 7353A (presurized barrier fluid). The reservoirs capacity is 12 lts (3 gal) or 20 lts (5 gal) depending on pump shaft diameter as required by the API 682.

PARA UNA BUENA SELECCIÓN DEL SELLO MECÁNICO SE REQUIERE: 1- Identificar el espacio disponible para el montaje del sello mecánico. 2- Obtener la información completa del fluido manejado y sus condiciones de trabajo. 3- Reconocer los fluidos de limpieza o de ambientación disponibles. 4- Verificar la compatibilidad de los materiales del sello que cumplan con las condiciones del fluido manejado. 5- Identificar el modelo del sello mecánico que se acomode al montaje según la información obtenida. 6- Recomendar el plan de ambientación que cumpla con las condiciones de trabajo. (si aplica).

ANÁLISIS DE FALLA DE SELLOS MECÁNICOS 1. No bote nada! 2. Revise el estado de la bomba o equipo, sin esto no será fácil conocer la causa-raíz 3. Consiga el sello completo 4. Examine caras 5. Examine transmisión de torque 6. Examine elementos flexibles 7. Examine elastómeros 8. Busque huellas de rozamiento

Las caras laterales se abren permitiendo escape y la entrada de solidos entre ellas. Un componente del sello se ha dañado por: •Corrosión •Daño físico por alta temperatura,alta presión, rozamiento, etc.
