Councillor Séamie Morris is your Sinn Féin candidate for the Tipperary constituency at the next General Election. Séamie is married to Denise and has four children. His social conscience comes from his Republican lineage. Séamie works as a postman and as a public representative for Nenagh and surrounding areas, and is anchored in the community. He has a very strong work ethic, working from half five every morning until late at night. Involved in community events since a young age, he is passionate about politics, GAA and sports. His successful Sports Tourism initiatives have brought many international tourists to Tipperary - creating and maintaining employment. Serving as Mayor of Nenagh twice, Séamie has been a councillor since 2004. Topping the poll, he became the first Sinn Féin councillor in Tipperary for 50 years. He has previously stood for the Dáil. Séamie champions the rights of those failed by the system and is not afraid of taking on the establishment.
